Hi,

I am having an HCL P4 PC, kindly help me, upto what extent i can upgrade my RAM.

Visit crucial.com or memory-up.com , They both have free scanners that will let you know what you have already and what you can upgrade to. You don't have to buy from them but they will let you know what you need.

Most motherboards will take up to 16 or 32 GB of RAM, but you need a 64bit operating system to use more than 3GB of RAM.

Which OS are you running now?

Yes, but not for home use. Some servers were built with PAE hardware.

Notice the reference is only to servers, not desktop systems.
