Title: Firefox Pages Won't Load
Post by: amirshaw on March 18, 2010, 08:55:49 PM
Many of my firefox pages are not loading or not loading fully, it can't be cache problems or temp. internet files, I use ccleaner and clean my firefox a lot, i use disk cleaner and such, but some pages will take forever to load and then say not responding, these pages work perfectly fine on my other computer, and another example are facebook images, they wont load, and ill have to click refresh like 2-3 times for it to actually show up, I have avg and malware bytes so I doubt a virus is a problem, any help is appreciated!

So it's not just Firefox but all browsers? Then despite your protestations to the contrary I would follow the above link and be 100% certain the system is malware free.

I suggest, you uninstall AVG, using AVG Remover and see, if it helps: http://www.avg.com/us-en/download-tools
It looks like one of their latest updates is causing issues.

Hi amirshaw,

CH Experts cannot detect the exact problem of your browsers if your computer is not 100% free from malwares. Please do 1st what they are suggesting.

reinstall it?  i was having a few problems last week and a clean install worked for me.

Hi wragh ,

What are the problems you encountered that make you decide to reinstall your web browsers?

Okay, amirshaw may reinstall the browsers. But if same problem occurs, I would suggest to follow the advise of CH Experts. Malware can manipulate a computer system without knowledge of the user. Computer must declared clean 1st. From there, experts can detect what really is the exact problem.

I had this problem with Firefox and have tried many things with no benefit.

Today I am using Opera as my web browser and I have no problem, also my download speed is greatly improved.
