Title: Games are being all kinds of crazy

Ok... so I got a new hard drive and the only install around the house was vista so I went with it.  So far I can't get Steam or Warcraf 3 to work. For Warcraft 3, I get stuck at screen that says "Iniating conenction to battle.net" and for Steam, when i put in my user information steam just doesn't respond and crashes. I've tried compatibilty mode and running as administrator and disabling the firewall. Any other ideas?

Is that the only problem - games? After installing Vista did you install all drivers starting with the chipset driver?

Ok so steamd ecided to work but It seems like something is blocking the games from getting online. Im trying to download a game and its going at 1.1 mb/s

Have you added Warcraft 3 to the firewall exceptions list? i had the same problem when i install diablo 2 and warcraft 3.
