Which device is bringing the Found new hardware wizard up? It should tell you. If it doesn't click next and should say something like Multimedia Video Device or the name of you piece of harware.
-
What ever the device is(cd,usb, dvd drive ) can't be found. I have tried updating . In the device manager every thing is there.

What ever the device is...
But what is the name of the device?
-
they are numbers I think one of them is hard drive , sony dvd/rw,LG RW/DVD.
-
I've even tryed restore . still comes up !!!!
-
Find the Sony in device manager...right clik it and select "Un-install"...
Re-boot.
It will automatically be re-installed.
-
tryed that

It's not a HDD...it's an optical drive.
Power down and unplug either the data or power cable.
Power up and remove it again in device manager.
Then power down and re-connect it.
