Title: application cannot be executed. the file ....exe is infected

This just started yesterday. I get a security warning pop up saying applications cannot be executed. It changes every time the pop up comes. "Application cannot be executed. the file csrss.exe is infected. do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" or wuauclt.exe and rundll32.exe among others. any help? thank you in advance.

add/remove programs automatically gets closed and every time I go to open up any of the downloads it says that they are infected files too and wont open em up.

Boot to safemode by tapping F8 repeatedly on powerup before you see the Windows splash screen...
Run all your security apps from there and post back with what you ran and what the results were...
