Title: ipod help

okay i got a problem, i had a computer before with itunes with my music on it.
the computer crashed and we had to trash it. the music didnt save to my disks or flash drives. and the only music i got is on my ipod, how do i get songs from my ipod to my new laptop with out deleting everything? because i dont know the songs names and i dont want to go buy them again... i can never find anything about this please help!

There is an open-source, cross-platform program called Ipod Copy that works quite well.  I've used it a few times on my Ubuntu system and it worked without a hitch.
