I watched a live feed thur & fri of the British open without any problem, today I was prompted to update adobe flash player , I tried to bypass it but it wouldn't let me,I then tried a few other sites, had the same results now I can't watch any video at all without the prompt to update, I did the update and it didn't work, went to there site and followed the instructions to delete and reinstall, tried this several times without any luck, called there free help line, got a recording stating they are working on some updates  ??

though you converted to IE8, may want to try google chrome browser again just to check and see if you can get the site's video working

google chrome has integrated flash so you don't need download the plugin, as chrome will have already taken care of it for you.

you might try uninstalling adobe flash player again. Reset Internet Explorer (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737). And then after a reboot of the PC, reinstall the adobe flash player and now check if the video is now working.

Good Morning, thanks again for your suggestions and help
 update

I was able to finally contact adobe by phone, long story short was told that yes they could help sort out my problem, if I was willing to pay a fee ?? not going to happen,I was then instructed to go their site an open an account and send or ask questions online to one of their tec people and it should only take an hour or so for some real answers, great ! there is no way to send a message, you are redirected to the help pages and try the same fixes I have used since last Saturday, I was on that site yesterday for a long time trying figure a way around redirects to contact a real person  ??

status, using chrome for video's, can't watch anything on ESPN
 thanks for your ear

Typical...

I'm not bashing Adobe or any of the big names out there for what they are but it seems Customer Support obviously had no legitimate answer...it happens.

Do me a favor...it's a 4 step process.

1) UUninstall Firefox after backing up your Profile.
2) DLoad ;install and run Recuva (Free) to make sure all remnants of Firefox are gone...
3) Dload and install a fresh copy of Firefox...
4) Re-install a fresh copy of Flash and travel to the site your having issues with...

Update, yes it's been more than 30 days and no I still haven't been able to download  Adobe Flash Player, if I want to watch anything I am forced to use Chrome, I was able to find an adobe forum, for the past few days I have been directed to try the same things I have already tried and a few new ones , I can't believe this has taken so long without any results.
The reason for my post here today is in 2008 I had an issue with an anti virus/spyware vendor and the help I received here from this community I was able to get a full refund plus advise on free software to use ( Avast and spywareblaster) which in loaded and works perfectly, I can't believe someone here knows how to fix Adobe Flash  Player,I'm not having allot of faith in the other forum
thank you

Maybe you can try installing an older version of flash player to see if it works.

Try getting it here, instead of adobe. This is where I always download it. Remember to uninstall it first.
