Title: Unable to view folder Options on Windows 98

Greetings,

In Operating system window 98, I am unable to view the folder options from view menu of My computer window.

You should find out this option as per the below procedure.

1.Double click on My computer Icon present on desktop.
2.Click on View menu.. There you should see folder options.

Infact it was appearing earlier, but since past one month I am unable to view this option, wherein I am unable to show my hidden files.

Kindly help me out on this and provide a solution.

Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and see what username you are logged on as.
Go to Users & Passwords in your Control Panel and see if you have Admin rights.

Try accessing the Folder Options applet in the Control Panel:

1. Click Start
2. Select Settings and Control Panel
3. In the Control Panel, double-click the Folder Options applet
4. Change the view settings there

Let us know if the options to change the view settings are not available there.
