Title: microsoft security essentials
Post by: kiwiasus7 on July 29, 2010, 05:36:56 AM
hi.
when i download MSE it went through to the downloading stages installing stage and the computer crashed.
I eventually had it installed.
Ran a full scan and somewhere in C system 32 the computer crashed.
This happened 4 times.
I deleted it and could not redload it.
the computer crashed.
Trying to download did not succeed 3 times.

Norton is installed on this system i do not use it.
With thought to this is the cause i ran the norton delete tool.
MSE still would not dload.
I also had the same dload crash problem with Skype.
Since then i have deleted Skype from everywhere.
And MSE from all files.
Now i have Norton 2010.

Strange little world.
It dloaded fine installed and runs fine and picked up a couple of cookies mse didnt.

I am very interested to know.
Is there a gliche in MSE?
Is Skype caused by the same gliche?
Does Norton cause the crash?
Thanks.
