Title: "Godmode" for Windows 7
Post by: ..::Merlyn::.. on August 08, 2010, 06:40:25 PM
So today i stumbled upon something, "Godmode" For Windows 7.

To make "Godmode"

First Make a new folder and name it: "Godmode{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}" (with out the quotes)

This folder brings all windows features into one file.

Windows Vista Users: DO NOT USE THIS it will not work on Vista.

several things.

First, This has already been posted: http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,97612.0.html

Second, it's not "god mode" that's not what it's called. It's the "All Tasks" Shell folder. That's it. nothing speshul or magical about it. you can do something like:

smurf.{ED834ED6-4B5A-4bfe-8F11-A626DCB6A921} to get control panel. Doesn't mean we call the control panel smurf mode.

The question of why this isn't available any other way (that I know of, anyway) is pretty obvious. It's *censored* near useless. As the quoted passage from Broni in the previous thread on this states, It's just a way to fill up your screen with icons. it's neither organized nor particularly well laid out.
