Title: Extracting
Post by: Raymond Paik on July 26, 2005, 03:31:22 PM
i have a problem with the speed at which my computer extracts files. I have a really good comp, 2.8 ghz, 512 mb, the works. But when i extract files, it does them really slowly. I look at other computers, and its almost instantaneous. why?

Raymond:

Another possibility: Your antivirus software is doing a throught job of scanning the file during the extraction.
