Title: msconfig.exe has stopped working

Windows 7, haven't used msconfig in a while so I'm not sure when it actually stopped working but I'm unable to use it.

everytime i try to use msconfig a box comes up "msconfig.exe has stopped working" with only two choices "Check online for a solution and close the program" "close the program"

Any ideas?

Click Start -->Search and type in sfc /scannow and press enter.

No change, still fails to work
