Title: ISP LOG IN
Post by: Jeffrey on September 08, 2010, 09:19:58 AM
I operate W7 with MS IE8. For some reason I cannot log in to my ISP account (Waitrose) from my home computer. Message comes up saying invalid user name or password -but both are definittely correct. I have no problems logging in from work computer (also W7 + IE8). I have spoken to the Waitrose technical support but they cannot find the reason. I assume that I need to adjust a setting or two somewhere. Can anyone help?

My 'other' first thought would be that in general a log-in usually offers a way to reset the username and/or password when you provide a piece of information that you have already provided, for example an email address. Even routers in general have a reset switch to take things back to the factory settings/password. No password YOU have provided is infallible when it comes to recovery.
Do you have this option available?
