Title: windows 98 SE

I am trying to upgrade my computer to windows Xp and I can unstall until it restarts after loading and copying files from disk. Can anyone PLEASE help? I had my entire system up and running with Windows XP Home Edition with all security and virus updates. Now I had to redo my entire OS from windows 98 SE but I do not have the Authentic 25 number is there anyone who can help me with some suggestions on this? Thanks Rose
