Title: keyboard does not have a scroll button, elevator jumps to the top

I have a cordless keyboard, no scroll lock button,  the elevator in a chat room will not allow me to scroll up a bit.  It jumps to the top of the list.
How do I fix this problem?  It worked fine until 2 weeks ago.

Replace the batteries...
Move any other wireless devices such as cordless phones out of the area...
