So I got 18 Wheels of steel Convoy and when i installed it on my computer and when i open the game it goes through it's regular logos and yada yada, until i see the 18 WOS Convoy name then it gives me a error. Prism3d.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. I reinstall it again and still the same. I have direct x 9 and I don't think my specs are that bad. I have 18 WOS american long hual which is newer than convoy. Whats wrong? If anyone has any solutions that would be great. Im running windows Xp por sp2. Here are my specs
2.80 GHz CPU
60 GB hdd
1 GB RAM
256 MB graphics card from ATI. All my other games work fine. Thanks in advance

Try updating your video card drivers if you haven't already. That seems to be the most common solution to this problem.

i had a problem with prism3d once, see if there are any patches/updates for prism3d, if not
install service pack 3, i know i know,its a pain but, alot of games are only gonna run on sp3
