Title: Comp won't turn on

Just built it. I am getting a strange high-pitched whirring noise from the power supply when I plug it in, but it still won't power up when I hit the power button.

I disconnected the power supply to the mainboard and the high-pitched whirring stops, but still no power.

I tried using a diffeent power supply, and had the same problem. I am at a loss atm.

Specs:

Microstar K8T neo2-F Skt 939
WD 1600JD 160GB SATA
512 MB DDR PC3200 400
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB DDR AGP
AMD Athlon 64 3000 Skt 939

Is the mainboard P1 connector damaged?
