Title: Location: (Archive Root Directory) ... Method Deflated Win7
Post by: Dean0123 on January 10, 2011, 09:56:01 PM
Hi,

After making some adjustments to a text file and selecting save, it would only let me "Save As"

I looked at its properties and its location was listed as: (Archive Root Directory) ... Method: Deflated

Can anyone tell me what's going on - I have spent days getting all my files in known places so that I can safely back them up but it appears that these have been moved somewhere else by windows7

Thank you
Dean

Hi All,

I've managed to work it out... I was working with a file in a ZIP directory (without realising it).

I guess the Location: (Archive Root Directory)  refers to the zipped folder and the deflated refers to the unzipped file!

I hope this helps anyone with the same question.
