Title: Ethernet cable won't connect to pc anymore.

Hi i recently decided to remove some programmes from my p.c to free up space i came across a few things to do with ethernet and presumed i didnt need them so stupidly removed them, now my computer will not connect to the internet and wont recognise when the ethernet cable is plugged in, the router is fine as is the cable as it connects to my laptop fine, i don't know what driver i need for it to work again the p.c is a "hp compaq d330" i have been hunting online and have found nothing probably because i dont know what im looking for .. any help would be greatly appreciated as i am CLUELESS thankyou.

You need to travel to Compaq's site and DLoad and reinstall the MBoard chipset and LAN drivers...
Remember to reboot after each 1
