I just reinstalled Win Xp pro sp3 into my Pc day before yesterday, worked smoothly after that but after last night use, I can not log on again.(I didn't log off last night or do anything, just left it running like that n went to bed). Now when I click on the box with a account user name, a message say " loading your personal setting" showing for like 3 seconds then off but nothing happens, back to the log on screen. restart didn't help too.
What happened and what can I do?
All suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks!!!

Can you get into SAFE MODE and do a System Restore ?

You don't need to get into safe mode to do a system restore.

How am I supposed to do system restore when I can't log in to use the computer at at all :'(
But I am wondering why my Pc have that problem? Is that a virus or something?
Also, as suggested by Patio, I tried to boot from window cd and repair but it stopped in the middle of the way when doing it saying: cannot complete- following file cannot be found "..." or something. Then I tried reinstall but it also stop in the middle and show the same message but different files name each time I tried. So I totally gave up now. Please I need some help.

As Allan suggested, its safe to ignore that post
saying: cannot complete- following file cannot be found "..." or something. Then I tried reinstall but it also stop in the middle and show the same message but different files name each time I tried.
The missing file names and / or error messages are shown for a purpose. Without you telling them to us we have no way of knowing what wrong with your machine!!

Are you prepared to lose all data on the pc? If so, boot to the XP CD, format the drive, do a new installation.
If not, we'll have to try to help you get the data off the drive (by slaving) and then do a format and new install.

For backing to the log on screen box when we clicking on account.
we have 1 way fix this problems but until using CD boot ERD Commander.
Cause from:
1-Error or Corrupt file userinit.exe in C:\WINDOWS\system32
2-Wrong registry path this file.
Start boot using cd boot ERD Commander and don't 4 get plug in usb with contain file userinit.exe copied from new machine. copy new file userinit.exe from yr usb to replace old file in C:\WINDOWS\system32.
then check registry path. start>type regedit and locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon point to userinit and double click on it and check it wrong or not path. For right path is C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,. so if wrong path change to this.
I think it like difficult for no CD Boot ERD Commander. this is my a bit my experience for every one.
No way beside reinstall windows if no CD Boot ERD Commander to help. For info ERD Command i am not sure the source but i have it from my friend.
Thank

I neither fully understand the above post nor how it comes to the conclusions it seems to, but please feel free to ignore it.

You say you can click on Account User Name.
In that case restart the PC, press on Fx key to come to the option of Safe Mode.
Select Safe mode.
Select Administrator as user
Do not enter a password
Click OK
Can you come into XP Pro Safemode now or not ?
Close windows and reboot the PC.
