Title: i have a question about updateing from iOS 4.0.1 to 4.2.1

i have a jailbroken iPhone 3G iOS 4.0.1 (redsn0w), can i use redsn0w to update to the jailbroken iOS 4.2.1 firmware without loosing my packages like Mini v-mac roms, iclassic, cydia packages, repo sources, ect.
