Post by: U_What on August 16, 2005, 04:43:52 AM
Looking at purchasing a USB memory stick.. but after checking out whats on offer I'm not sure which is best.

I'm gonna get a 1GB but  there's a few options of which type of stick to buy?

and I currently run windows 98 on an old system which i can only assume has  usb port 1.1 how can i tell if it is this?

Just becuase the stick says USB 2.0, it will adjust for a slower port... Make sure that (1) You have a USB port  and (2) Your memory stick is compatible with Windows 98 ... Also, may I ask why you need 1 gig? Will you be transferring large files?
