Title: I get an error The system cannot find the file specified 0x8007002
Post by: MD507 on March 13, 2011, 01:18:01 PM
I went and did an System backup on my Windows 7, and when it was done, it said Backup encountered a problem while backing up c:\Ringtones.
Error: The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002)
I once created a folder called Ringtones, i deleted it and now it is not even in my c:\  hard drive.
But the Windows backup says it cannot find it. Is it somehow still in the Windows Registry? Can anyone help me

What backup program are you using?

Have you done a search for the folder ring tones? I know you deleted it but maybe you had another one? Have you done a full viruse sweep?
