Title: wireless to wired

I was staying at a hotel I work at and i used a netgear wireless USB adapter to get wifi, I installed the firmware and such and everything worked.
Now I am home the Ethernet will not pick up my wired connection at all.
Please help me change back to wired internet, this has been stressing me all day.

This says it's not connected (plugged in).

thats the problem, it is connected and i have tried other cables and direct from modem. ever since that USB wireless adapter was used, it wont detect my ethernet plugged in.

Try these:

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

If no help, then,
ipconfig /flushdns
