Title: Clipboard Manager (for Windows Vista and Windows 7)
Post by: soybean on May 03, 2011, 10:23:31 AM
I only installed this 5 days ago but I'm going to go ahead and post a recommendation for it.  It's a clipboard manager that installs as a gadget on the Sidebar in Windows Vista and Windows 7.  I'm using it with Windows 7 and I like it very much.

For those of you who may never have used a clipboard utility that provides enhanced clipboard functionality beyond the standard Windows clipboard, the main advantage of a clipboard manager is that it holds many copy actions in memory, not just the most recent.  With Clipboard Manager (http://gallery.live.com/liveItemDetail.aspx?li=0f6a9526-97aa-4b6f-9b24-95b193c158d4), you can set the amount of hard drive space to be used for storing clipboard items.  You can clear all items stored with a two clicks or you can selectively delete items from the clipboard.  You can search retained clipboard history via a filter/search box on the gadget.
