Title: Resolution on Windows XP 1024x768 - the only colour setting I can get is 8 bit?
Post by: Lex-UK on May 22, 2011, 11:41:37 AM
I reinstalled Windows XP SP3 version of 2002. installation went great but the1024x768 resolution is stuck on 8 bit color. how can i get it higher? I am sure there must be some hotfix or update that needs to be downloaded but no idea which one

Did you reinstall chipset and video driver?
Any errors in Device manager?
