hi guys..I tried to boot the pc the other day and it did 1 long beep and 2 short beeps and it wouldn't boot up, Ever since then it has booted sometimes and not others. I cant find my manual to find the codes for the beeping. I was told that 1 long and 2 short usually means memory problem, Is that usually the case ? cheers guys ;D

Go to the website of your bios provider for a list of their beep codes.

I had a look on the gigabyte site and I am convinced its graphics problem. The monitor goes onto standby and I cant see anything then I have to reboot which I then get the beeps, Can the graphics cards cause beeps while booting?

Yes

1 long and 2 short is a video card error on a Gigabyte board with an Award bios. Most likely, your video card is not inserted properly, not powered properly, or dead/dying.
Check that the card is inserted securely and completely into the slot and, if required by the card, a power cable has been attached to it. Even if it appears to be in correctly, try completely removing it and putting it back in.
