Hi There People
I have downloaded an Excel spreadsheet but the monetary values are in $ I need to change then to £.
Can anybody help please
I am using XP and it concerns Office 2010

Convert $ to £ in Excel
Reply
Highlight the range of cells you want to change.
Right click and click on:-
Format Cells . . .
The Format Cells window should open.
Click on the Number tab.
In the:-
Category:
- box set it to:-
Currency
then click on the pound symbol (in the Symbol: box).
Click OK.

Some additional information is needed.
What does this spreadsheet do? Is it a list of prices of a line of products for sale? Is this spreadsheet a static thing, it is not going to be updated?
1 US dollar = 0.6101 British pounds sterling
The price maybe drooping slowly. Or maybe not.
