you tube videos just stop playing? Any ideas?

try reinstalling adobe flash

Do they stop with a buffering circle in the middle of the screen? As in they play then the screen freezes and a small circle starts to animate in the centre.

We prefer to research an issue before we jump to 'just re-install'.

Actually, installing the latest version of Flash is a good idea.

Yeah, definitely unless there is a small buffering icon in the centre of the video... then it's just overkill.
