Title: windows 95 floppy disk not included?
Post by: kennyawinner on August 19, 2011, 06:20:20 PM: I ordered Windows95 for my Lenovo thinkpad 380z 2635 and i booted to the cd and it showed
insert floppy disk then press F1?
pls help

There is no bootable windows 95 CD.

You boot to the floppy disk, which installs a CD-ROM driver, and from there you run SETUP.EXE from the CD.

Oh, you mean like Windows 98? My memory is old. But I do remember playing Hover under my eyes were sore. Back in those days they had some kind of joystick.

Windows 98 FE (First Edition) was not bootable. Windows 98SE was a bootable disc. In the former case the steps were the same as they were for Win95.
