Title: black screen on start up

I have a presario f500 and when i try to start it up it will go though all the logos but when my desktop should start it just goes black i can get into the desktop if i use safemode does anyone know how to fix this or is the laptop done for. thanks for any help

Graphics (video) driver is corrupted or could be related to it.

Go to Software & Driver download, select your OS ( is it Vista?)
There's only 1 graphics driver for Vista:   NVIDIA GeForce Go 6100 VGA Driver
