Title: Format Hard Drive

I was given a computer which is a P-III with XP home and 512 MB of memory.

I am trying to format the hard drive and I keep getting this error message:

Format cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. Format may run if the volume is dismounted first.

Any help would be appreciated.
