Title: Windows 2000 logon
Post by: Rick Leclercq on September 10, 2005, 03:44:21 PM
I changed a Windows 2000 (xxxx.net) domain to a default "workgroup" workgroup.
I thought the .net was keeping me from accessing websites.
Now my account and PW won't even let me logon to the local PC.

Does anyone have a work around for this?

I don't have the Admin PW.

Thanks.

RL

Without an admin password i'm afraid you've got your work cut out for you...

Rick:

Change the settings back to EXACTLY what they were before.  If you are not sure what the settings were, stop what you are doing and contact your network administrator.  Be completely honest with her and explain what you did to create the problem (when she tries to fix the problem, she is going to know you caused it anyway and being frank with her will make it easier for her to fix things).
