And you Google searched IDE to SATA adapter?

That is the 2nd time I have seen you use that excuse for a hardware related question. How did you think this would be a free solution?

Yeah, a 41-year old who has no money, makes references to their parents and Roblox, and somehow manages to have hands about the size of a 12-year old, is completely more believable than the fact that you are really in fact just 12 and taking apart some old junk that you found in the attic.
As to the problem, as others have said, you need an adapter. Unfortunately, as you seem to be coming to grips with, consumer goods typically require money. This, for you, is an unfortunate truth as you claim to have none. Of course with no money I fail to see how a 41 year old could have such a nice lamp, and electricity, and a place to live, as all three of those cost money, the latter two in fact costing a recurring amount, which makes me wonder, if you don't have a job, you really ought to think about getting one. And heaven help those around you if you manage to land one in IT.

Then you're out of luck. Sorry.

Unneccessary slam removed.
