Title: Networklist

Hi I have a question in the Networklist folder in system 32 what is supposed to be in that folder because I have a folder in there that says icon then stock icons and under stock icons I see four bin files are they suppose to be there. Because when I get rid of them they reappear. Help computermom

First of all, why are you inside the system32 folder and deleting files? It contains, well, as its name suggests, some of the core Windows files that are necessary for proper operation...

Most info regarding NLA will be stored under the following three places:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\HomeGroup
C:\Windows\System32\NetworkList
DO NOT DELETE IT IS A CORE NETWORKING COMPONENT
