Hi guys, so I have just started a new job and broken the office printer... :-\
Anyhoo I'm sure it is something that can be fixed, I just need some help! Basically there is a paper tray at the top that you can feed paper into and it is just not taking the paper now. There were a few paper jams and now I'm pretty sure something has broken...
I have drawn an arrow on the attached image to show the bit I mean.
Really hope someone can help!

so I have just started a new job and broken the office printer..
And how did that happen?
Anyhoo I'm sure it is something that can be fixed
Okay.
Basically there is a paper tray at the top that you can feed paper into and it is just not taking the paper now.
You just described nearly ever laser printer in existence. How is it not taking paper?
There were a few paper jams and now I'm pretty sure something has broken...
Paper jams caused by what? What has broken?
I have drawn an arrow on the attached image to show the bit I mean.
Yeah. you drew an arrow pointing out the paper tray. What exactly is that supposed to tell us?
I understand your paper is jamming but what is it jamming on?
Why don't you just use the bottom loader instead?
Really hope someone can help!
Your company does not have an IT department?

I came on here for help, if you are just going to quote everything I say and reply with something negative and unhelpful then don't post at all. Clearly I have posted on here because I need help and don't know at all what's wrong. Would it really be so hard to just question a bit less arrogantly? I understand that you forum experts get annoyed with newbies but if people can't even come on here and ask for help without getting quite a rude reply what is the point in this forum in the first place.
So thanks for nothing computer hope, won't be posting any more problems on here again.

Well excuse me for trying to get more information out of you.

As to paper jams. Often a bit of paper can be inside of the tray and prevent it from working right. See if you can look into the tray and find a torn bit of paper still inside.
