System.ini is showing me this:
; for 16-bit app support
[386Enh]
woafont=dosapp.fon
EGA80WOA.FON=EGA80WOA.FON
EGA40WOA.FON=EGA40WOA.FON
CGA80WOA.FON=CGA80WOA.FON
CGA40WOA.FON=CGA40WOA.FON
[drivers]
wave=mmdrv.dll
timer=timer.drv
[mci]
SO I just need a professional to check this and tell me if my laptop is infected or hijacked.
SUPERAntiSpyware log could not be posted cause the spyware isn't installing on my computer so i just skipped this step.

DDS is just opening as SCR file on the notepad so any help with that?
-
I don't understand. What is it you have a problem with in the system.ini?
And are you experiencing any particular problems?
-
There is no particular problem i know how to use my computer and how to keep it safe, but i just want to know if what system.ini is showing me means that i am hacked or something?
-
There is nothing questionable in your system.ini file. I'm moving this to a different forum in case you have more questions.
-
Thank you this was only my question :) by the way i have windows 7 and also how to make dds file run?
-
You can't make a .dds file "run". It is not an executable file.
http://www.modwiki.net/wiki/DDS_%28file_format%29
-
no i meant the DDS file that you tell us to download and run before posting any thread about the viruses and the malware
-
The instructions for downloading and running that file are in the following link: http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,46313.0.html (http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,46313.0.html)
But since you don't have any issues I wouldn't worry about it.
-
Allan thank you very much. :) I have some good knowledge in computer but someone told me that the system.ini file that was show on my computer means that i have been hijacked :P anyway i hope i would be able to help other poster in here with my little knowledge.
-
I allready read this :P but dds as soon as i download on it and double click it's running in notepad
-
Stop listening to that person :)
-
Well if i know how to use my computer and i have an antivirus and a firewall and i don't just download anything like a jurk, don't keep any cookies on my pc and don't go to untrustfull website there is nothing that could posiblly attack my pc right?
if yes then the person that told me that about system.ini is idot :P
-
That about sums it up...yes.
