I recently received a Radeon HD 6580 which works great, however, when I try to run it with my FireGL v5100, I get error 43. I knows both of these cards work in my primary Pci-e slot, but they do not work when they are both plugged in. Both of the drivers are updated. I am running on Windows 7 x64. I am not sure what to do from here.
Any help is appreciated!

I think your problem lies with incompatibility of your graphics cards. NVidia allows use of mixed sli capable cards that are different than each other by combining "cuda" cores, but i don't think ati/amd have the same general technology to do that. For the best of compatibility and performamce i'd always recommend running identical cards when running a multi-gpu system. Also make sure they are bridged properly with the correct cable/connector.. i could help further but at the moment I'm typing on my cellphone and its taking forever. for some reason my pc cant even ping this forum right now. facebook/google/etc. is fine, and dns resolves the hostname, ill try back later i guess

What is your objective? Do you merely want to run dual monitors? Is running two monitors off one card not a viable option for your purposes?
