Title: Wrt54gs and windows 7

hi all, new here and really computer stupid, i did a search and came up with loads of info which i dont understand- so here the question, i got a new windows 7 comp and would like to run my old computer too on my liksky wrt54gs, the wires are hooked up but the linksky doesnt work- i have a CD- do i have run this on new computer or is it plug and play? do i have to call comcast for the ip stuff? i seem something about addresses but i dontunderstand any tech stuff, thanks

cant say  cause i never tried to hook it up yet ,that does looks like nice link to walk me thru it, so ill print that and give it a shot, any other tips i should know about? TIA
