Soundcard is found, but not installed.

You need to install drivers.

You have a sound card of some sort. Is it onboard sound? (You can look on the back for sound jacks to verify you have it there. It will either be connected to the motherboard directly or to a discreet card. Make sure if you have onboard sound that it is disabled in the BIOS if you are attempting to use an add on card.

Use everest, identify the item, and then go driver hunting. Post back what you find.

Ok.. through EVEREST, in the portion multimedia,

i found this:

Device Description       :

ESS Technology ES1968 Maestro-2 Sound Card

Type   :

 PCI

Now where to find the driver?

Thanks for answering.

You will need to know your Operating System too.
Look for it under 'My Computer'>Properties.
