Title: Ipd file extension converter

I have backed up my blackberry items with their software onto my computer.  It is save as an .ipd file. 

I would like to find a safe and good software that will convert this type of file, so that I can open it and sort the and save the data on my computer.

There are many that I found through Google but I am not sure which are safe and which are not.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thank you for your help.
