Title: Windows 8 won't boot anymore...

I installed windows 8 earlier today and it ran fine, then when restarting to finish windows updates it went to a black screen that ocassionaly flashes and I could move my cursor around. It always does now and I can't enter safemode, I do not have a windows 8 cd as I did their download upgrade win 7 to win 8 deal.


Saber tooth p67 motherboard

I2600k processor

16 gb ram

Gtx 580 Zotac 3 gb card

Titanium fatality sound card

Velociraptor digital western 500 gb hard drive

G19 keyboard and g9x mouse

I have not run into that yet but I would try booting to the Windows 7 DVD and run startup repair, otherwise I think windows 8 also uses the small partition at the front of the drive to allow you to boot to the repair utility.
