Title: Yahoo resurrects deleted email address????
Post by: 02bin3 on November 17, 2012, 08:31:33 AM
Yahoo wants to use 'old', deleted, email addresses instead of updated email addresses.  Every time I start to type the name of an email recipient into a Yahoo email, Yahoo auto-finishes it with the old, deleted address.  Is there any way
that I can stop this from happening.  It is most annoying as many of the email addresses on my list have changed over the years due to people changing them because of SPAM, and Yahoo consistently tries to fill in the address that is no longer there.  I have Windows 7 Pro, Firefox browser and Yahoo for email.

Remove the old contacts from your Contacts list.  That should resolve the issue.

Empty your trash mail folder as well as delete all old contacts which are of no use for you so that yahoo mail would not be able to fetch old contact mails from data.
