I get 100's of outlook attachments in an email from my vendors. I need to save those on a folder in my desktop and then open each to check for data. Is it possible to export data from them to an excel / CSV and make a list instead of opening each file?
Please help!

More info might be helpful. What type of file are the attachments? Do they all have the same layout? For example, if they are Excel files, do they all have the same columns of data, with the same column titles, on the same sheet?

Those are all Outlook 2007 emails that were returned for not reaching the person they were sent to.
Required fields:
Name
Recipients email
Domain name of the company extracted from recipient email and showing it as www.abc.com
Date of delivery
Date of failure / bounce
Sender email
All other relevant text
Thanks!

Again, what type of file are the attachments? Your last reply said nothing about attachments. Emails that were returned for not reaching the person they were sent to does not indicate an attachment.
Are you trying to capture all the invalid email addresses related to these returned emails?

The attachements are outlook emails they cound not be deliverd or bounced.
Sorry, if I wasn't clear. What happens is that I receive the outlook emails as an attachments for all Out of office, techincal error emails as attachment in email.
I need to capture the details from those Outlook mail items received as attachments in a spreadsheet.
Hope this makes it more clear.
Thanks!

Well, I don't know how you can do that in the streamlined manner you want to do it. So, I hope someone may have a suggestion. I do have Outlook 2007; I'll post here again if I discover a way to do this.

If they set you up with a dedicated account for each account i believe you can have only selected bounced email notifications forwarded to you.

I get only bouncebacks as Outlook emails as attachments via email. I need to export data from them to xls.

I gather you're working with a large number of emails. Right? Otherwise, i.e. for personal emails or a small number of emails, I don't think this would be a very significant problem; you could just solve the issue for any instance where you discovered an invalid email address and the problem would be very limited in scope. So, again, you seem to be working with a large number of emails. In your original post, you said, "I get 100's of outlook attachments in an email from my vendors." So, you have 100's of vendors for which you do not have a valid email address?

I was just trying to think outside the box...
