Hi. I'm currently trying to resolve some broadband instability issues at the moment but I'm not having much luck determining what acceptable line speed fluctuation is. I'm pretty sure that 2-110% (0.6-33Mbits) is not acceptable but I have don't have any bases for comparison. Personally I would be happy with lows of 20% which would be 6/30Mbits.

Basing on a lot of factors. Wired and wireless, high bandwith demand on certain activities like downloading, online games, video streaming. The speedtest results will normally give you not the subscribed bandwith or a little less of the expected. Its not always a real time monitor checking on how its been behaving on certain activities or comparing to say its better when downloading but not on a simple skype call that would convince you there is a problem with your connection. The activity could be sometimes isolated or due to the outdated hardware/software, bandwith sharing, wireless and ISP end's fault. I know, I started that thread. I started a new topic in a more suitable area once that question was answered. Points for effort though.
