Title: Laptop Shuts Off Randomly When Plugged In?
Post by: spollen27 on February 14, 2013, 06:27:32 AM
Hi guys,
I have an Acer Aspire One D257 notebook. It was all working fine until just yesterday. I plugged it in th charge and it just went black. I turned it back on, and the same thing. I then restored it to factory settings using Acer eRecovery Management, and all fine for about 30 minutes. Then it started again. I turned it off and plugged it in, and charged it up fully. Then I turned it on again, and all is OK. I want to use it plugged in though, as the charge doesn`t last long in it. Any suggestions?

Help much appreciated,
Spollen27

Thank you patio,
I don't understand you, as how would you use the laptop without the battery?

Thanks again,

If your laptop will start and run without a battery then yes.
