Title: can't send email

Hi,When I click on outlook explorer I leave the internet. I can receive
mail but can't send as when I click send I'm off the internet again.
I checked fo viruses don't seem to have any.I think my security settings
are ok. Any help would be appreciated.

In Outlook or Express go to Tools/Options/Connections and then uncheck the box for hangup after sending and receiving.

Thanks for the info
I unchecked hangup and still when I click send to email
the logon box comes on with my correct name and password
and I click ok it keeps on coming down. When I exit there outlook
express dialoge comes up with errors dialoge box,but no
errors listed in details. spiertom

I think when I clicked reply to confirm a news letter from pc.com
and hit send was the first time I noticed it. I checked with my isp
and he wanted me to bring it in but I don't think theres much
wrong. He really was'nt much help. Maybe this info might help
I get this from zone alarm. The firewall has blocked internet access to your computer[route]
from 63.86.195.254 and also 63.86.195.3  In zalarm I got all green
checks for outlookex and internet ex. spidertom
