Yes, please post a screen shot. Also, is this pattern always there or only sometimes? Is it a laptop or desktop? CRT or LCD? The more information you provide, the better the chance that we can help.

Is the pattern you are talking about behind the window in your post?

Does the "pattern" also appear in safe mode? Try a different display - is it still there?

What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, new driver installeld, etc)?

Reboot. As soon as the system boots begin tapping the F8 Function key. This will take you to the Advanced Boot Options screen. Choose SAFE MODE

If you cant see it I think its a screen.

Would you like to explain that in detail please? And what happened in safe mode?

In safemode my computer lagged for the first time. Than when i run it everything got sort of windows xp-ish and there was less dots but they still appeared.
Also the message about my pc specs appeared after playing planetside 2 on ultra settings. The thing is my pc wasnt lagging when playing.

I'm guessing there is a problem with either your display adapter or your display itself. My first guess would be the display adapter.

Make sure you get it from a retailer who will accept returns just in case the card isn't the problem (though it probably is).
