Title: Word Keeps Crashing
Post by: clar5 on September 16, 2013, 08:48:37 AM
I am having a morning of *censored* with Microsoft Word. It just keeps crashing whether I'm trying to save something, copy/paste something, or even type something. Ill get the infamous crash box. I went into my event viewer and these are the events that I am seeing. Note: I do not see the Bluetooth add in listed at all in my add ins.

Do you have iCloud installed?

Please uninstall iCloud and see if the problem persists

Can I just disable iCloud perhaps? I am a frequent user of it.

It's up to you. If you want to see if Word works, please uninstall it.

I more or less turned it off so its no longer running, opened up word and am pretty much just doing random typing and saving. No crashing as of it.

I removed it, and was able to copy/paste without it crashing once. Is there a way I can make it work again (I Cloud). It was working fine Word up until yesterday.

Apparently Microsoft and Apple don't play well together. You might want to try Google Drive as an alternative to iCloud (that's what I use with my pc's, laptops & iPads). It comes with 15 Gigabytes free.

Ive heard of Google Drive, but I know my Ipad has Icloud connected to it.

There's no such thing as "connected to it" except that you can access it online - as you can (and must) any other cloud storage service. You can download Google Drive to your iPad. I use it on three different iPads.
