Title: runtime error 35764
Post by: Remex on October 15, 2013, 06:18:36 AM
HP Probook running Windows 7 SP1
I use Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebyte

I have been running Desktop Author quite happily until a couple of days ago I started to get a message when I try to open it saying “DPA 689” at the top and then “Runtime error 35764, still executing last request, OK”.  Clicking OK clears the program welcome page without opening the program. If I go directly to one of the data files it has created, it opens  perfectly.

Searching around I found this but I don't know what it means or if it helps.

Any advice would be welcome.
